Anthropology Students Research Developmental Milestones
Jennifer Zitt's anthropology students visited Little Gate toddlers for research.
The Anthropology class recently completed their unit on human language. As a part of their study of language acquisition, the students visited the Little Gate classrooms of students ages 1 through 4. They developed and used a linguistic checklist for each age group so that they could observe the use of language and other forms of communication in the Little Gate classrooms and presented their findings in class. By the end of their study, they were able to recognize and discuss the developmental milestones of language in young children.
