Aqua Elephants

The Aqua Elephant are continuing to work on our Light and Shadow Project as well as exploring with magnets.  The children loved having "homework" over the weekend.  They each took a magnetic wand home and got to go around their homes and find things that were magnetic and not magnetic.  It was a great family activity.  We are going to put together a chart with their pictures from home so they can compare objects that they found.  We also just revisited something that we did earlier in the year which was measuring each child on the big chart in our room.  Wow how they have grown!!!  They loved seeing how much bigger they are now.  The children have expressed interest in the sun as we have explored light and shadows.  They made sure to point out on our rainy day last week that they could not find any shadows.   We are curious to see where our light and shadow project will lead us next.
