Some of our Little Gaters enjoyed a Geyser Experiment by Firefly Mommy and McGehee Chemistry Teacher, Dr. Catherine Cresson. After a family vacation to Yellowstone National Park, her daughter has loved talking about geysers and making the sound effects. With help from the firefly teachers, Dr. Cresson used mentos and diet coke to create their very own geysers. By dropping the candy into the geyser tube and then into the diet coke, you can create your own geyser that shoots up to 25 feet in the air!!
